A fair review – pros and cons

The bathroom was somewhat small,, causing minor inconvenience and noise from the nearby road was noticeable, making it harder to fully relax at night.

I absolutely loved the spacious, well-appointed Superior Double or Twin Room. The beautiful decor made it feel like a cozy retreat. The breakfast each morning was exceptional, featuring a fantastic variety of options, all cooked to order and made with high-quality local ingredients. The hosts went out of their way to be helpful, filling my water bottles for biking and even allowing us to leave our car while we explored. the bathroom lacked privacy glass, which might be a concern for some guests. with the property set back from a busy road, there was noticeable traffic noise at night. But despite that, the hospitality and the lovely garden area definitely made our stay enjoyable.

Had a great time with friends at this B&B! We enjoyed exploring the stunning SW Coastpath and biking along the Exe Cycle Trail. The hosts made us feel at home, with excellent hospitality. Secure off-road parking and bike storage were a huge plus, as well as a delicious breakfast with plenty of choices to start the day. Perfect spot for adventure enthusiasts!
We did find the bathroom a bit cramped, which made things a little tricky at times.

The breakfast had a fantastic variety, featuring local produce and delicious homemade preserves, which really set the day off right. The charming garden area provided a pleasant retreat to unwind outside.
The bathroom size could be a pinch small for some, especially when it isn't en-suite, which creates a bit of inconvenience. There's also some noise insulation issues. you might hear sounds from adjacent rooms or even a hint of nearby traffic if you're sensitive to that sort of thing. Plus, the room storage could be a bit lacking with just a few drawers—definitely no walk-in closets here. Lastly, the pavement on the road to nearby pubs isn’t ideal, posing some safety concerns, especially on a dark evening.

The Standard King Room was amazing! Super comfy bed with hypoallergenic pillows, nice seating area, and a shower that felt like a spa. Plus, the complementary snacks were a nice touch. Den and Jules made everything easy, even uping the room to en-suite. Breakfast was fresh with tasty options, and they offered takeaway coffee while we relaxed in the conservatory.
